Two of the largest US ballet companies are in Memphis, according to an August 2023 Dance Data Project study that compiles the 50 largest organizations.
With Collage Dance Collective entering the list for the first time, joining Ballet Memphis, the city of Memphis joined its own esteemed list – one of just four major cities with more than one major ballet company!
